Unavoidable?

Haha, everytime I think I'm taking a break, something happens. This time, the theatre company that I'm doing my show with decided to have a party in the theatre tonight. Cool, woohoo. Lots of free booze, I love it. Soooooooo, I'm talking to the playwright that has expressed interest. I'm still not sure about him, as y'all know, but he asks for my #, and I give it to him. (My policy is to always give ppl a chance). This is very early on in the evening. So, we're all chatting, networking, the usual, and this totally hot actor is talking, and maybe flirting(?) with me? I can't tell. But again, we're partying on stage, so he's like, oh, we should sit down, and leads me to sit down with him backstage... Oh! I didn't realize. So we're talking backstage, alone, and it feels really awkward, like we're 12, or something, and everyone starts making fun of us, like we're making out, but we're not, and then he actually DOES kiss me, and woah. It was nice, but short. And then the party breaks up, and he leaves, and doesn't get my #, and I'm disappointed. But I'll see him at the next show, so I guess I shouldn't be. I guess I'm just confused. I think I'm not entirely sure what just happened....

Isn't it always when you least expect it?

Wait, you were hanging out with a guy & it made you feel like you were 12? Duh...Of course. That's because the average emotional age of men is about 10.

Well, I'm not going to hold my breath. These things rarely work out, but kissing a hot guy--always fun.

I like your policy to always give people a chance. I think all women should adopt that ;)

i've spent the past few days reading your blog and have enjoyed every minute of it. the one thing i noticed though, kristin, is that you seem to have only been sexually satisfied by one man, Jersey Boy. while sex is not everything in a relationship it does distinguish a romatic relationship from a platonic frienship. perhaps you ought to consider dating an older man (age 35-42)who is more settled and sure of what he wants. with my experience, older men tend to be more emotionally secure, ready to pursue serious long term relationships, sexually knowledgable. also you may want to consider broadening your sexual horizons by taking a woman as your lover, or even consider entering into a romantic relationship with a woman. your friends and you share a special bond and it is evident that you share great with women. imagine what that would translate to in a romantic setting: the expectations and understanding inherent to all female friendships with the added bonus of a shared sexual anatomy. for most women and men i find that sex between two women or two men can be compared to driving an automatic car and sex between a man and a woman is comparable to driving stick shift. there are those of us (both men and women who learn to do it and do it well however in the end it is easier to work with equipment that we were born with and know like the back of your hand) just a suggestion though. i have dated both men and women (being a woman myself) and am only relating my own experience.

If you aren't a carpet muncher, you just aren't! Give me the stick shift anyday baby- there is nothing better than a swollen, hard cock inside you!

To anonymous: Ewwww!! This is not a porn site dork. Go pay someone to listen to that trash.

Kristin: Thanks for stopping by my blog! And, yanno, sometimes these moments that bring you back to your tweens are just so fun and sweet and ego-happy. Who cares what happens next? No harm, no foul, all candy-licious bubblegum fun!!
